Fixed-Term Contract – 1 Year
A welcoming and community-focused primary school within a well-established multi-academy trust is seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Caretaker to join its team on a fixed-term basis for one year.
Working Pattern
Tuesdays and Thursdays
All year round role
Fixed-term contract for 12 months
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented learning environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Responsibilities will include:
Opening and securing the school premises
Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
Monitoring health and safety across the site
Managing contractors and supporting site inspections
Ensuring the school grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard
Supporting with cleaning, deliveries and general site duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has practical maintenance or caretaking experience
Is dependable, organised and able to work independently
Takes pride in maintaining high standards
Has a strong understanding of health and safety responsibilities
Enjoys working as part of a dedicated school team
