Weekend Class 1 Drivers – Days & Nights (Saturday & Sunday)

We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team for weekend work around Grimsby Immingham Scunthorpe , with day and night shifts available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Duties

* Operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, containers, flatbeds, and curtain-sided trailers.

* Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.

* Deliver and collect goods safely and efficiently while meeting scheduled delivery times.

* Plan routes effectively, taking into account traffic, road conditions, and delivery requirements.

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle checks.

* Communicate professionally with transport planners and customers regarding deliveries and any issues.

* Follow all road transport regulations, company procedures, and health & safety requirements.

* Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements

* Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.

* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

* No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).

* Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.

* Knowledge of the Hull docks/port is advantageous but not essential.

* Experience with refrigerated, container, flatbed, or curtain-sided work is beneficial.

* Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
