Contingent Workforce Manager - Central Government - £300 to £350/day Inside IR35

A leading central government organisation is seeking an experienced Contingent Workforce Manager to join a high-performing workforce operations team. This role sits at the heart of contingent labour delivery, supplier management and workforce governance, supporting the end-to-end life cycle of temporary workers and contractors across a complex organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage contingent workforce requirements from approval through onboarding

• Support IR35 assessments and workforce compliance activities

• Work closely with suppliers, hiring managers and key stakeholders

• Manage contract extensions and offboarding activities

• Produce workforce reports and management information

• Support supplier performance and KPI management

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience within MSP, RPO, workforce operations or contingent workforce environments

• Strong stakeholder and supplier management experience

• Knowledge of IR35 and/or Agency Worker Regulations

• Experience using VMS platforms such as Fieldglass, Beeline or similar

• Comfortable operating within fast-paced, evolving environments

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

Desirable Experience:

• Public Sector, Local Government or Central Government experience

• Procurement, category management or outsourced workforce solutions background

• Experience conducting IR35 assessments

• BPSS/SC clearable
