Role – Logistics operator
Location – Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – full time hours
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Pay Rate – £13.15 per hour

Our client is recruiting for a logistics operator to join their busy warehouse operations.
The purpose of this role is to focus and own the transport planning of product to site, to assist with the daily management of the warehouse.

Main duties will include –

 Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods, and prepare outgoing shipments accurately
 Maintain stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure inventory integrity using warehouse management systems
 Operate forklifts or other machinery to move, stack, and organize goods safely
 Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring compliance with customer orders and quality standards
 Maintain accurate records, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists, and adhere to safety, regulatory, and company protocols
 Work with cross-functional teams such as customer service, quality control, planning, and external carriers to ensure smooth operation

Key Skills and attributes -

 Proven working experience in a similar role
 Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
 Forklift licence
 Basic computer skills
 Competent numerical skills
