Are you passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning? Do you have experience supporting young people through challenging behaviour, social and emotional needs, or mental health? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
We're working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Salford that are looking for dedicated individuals to support children who need positive role models, encouragement, and consistency throughout the school day.
The Role
Every day is different, but responsibilities may include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
Building positive relationships with children who require emotional or behavioural support.
Supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASD, trauma, and other additional needs.
Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils regulate their emotions.
Delivering mentoring, intervention sessions, and confidence-building activities.
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to help pupils thrive.

Calm, patient and resilient approach.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
