Administrator
£27,500, Harrogate town centre, interesting and varied role in a clinical setting, 4.5 day per week with some weekend hours, 28 days holiday, free eye care, training provided.
Due to retirement we are currently looking for a friendly and professional Administrator to join this small friendly town centre clinical practice. This role is varied and will include reception duties, varied administration tasks and clinical assistance to patients. No previous clinical experience is necessary but would be an advantage.
You will work alongside an optician, receptionist and clinical dispenser. The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the team, meet and greet patients and provide initial eye care pre-screening tests.
Administrator responsibilities include:
Meeting & greeting patients
Booking appointments
Processing invoices
Inputting hours and time sheets for payroll
Processing Supplier orders
Checking supplies and distributing accordingly
Typing up referrals
Maintaining accurate patient files
Conducting pre-screening tests
Carrying out retinal photographs, OCT scans and visual field tests
Requirements:
Good attention to detail
friendly and professional telephone manner
Excellent face to face customer service skills
Computer literate and able to pick up new systems
Previous experience working in an opticians or medical practice would be an advantage
Able to work Tuesday to Saturday would be ideal
Working hours are full-time, 4.5 days per week, working Tuesday to Friday from 8:45 am to 17:30 pm and Saturday from 8:45 am to 13:00 pm. This is ideally a full time role, however we would also consider 2 x part time candidates on a job share basis.
This Administrator position would suit someone who has worked in a medical or clinical setting before or has worked as a medical administrator, medical receptionist, clinical assistant, receptionist, office assistant or similar.
