Inspire the Next Generation Through Sport and Physical Education

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to join a successful and supportive team in a school in Rugby. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles, encouraging participation in sport, and delivering engaging, high-quality PE lessons that enable all students to achieve their full potential.

The Role

Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and lifelong participation in physical activity.
Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and sporting events.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an exciting and inclusive PE curriculum.Requirements:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is due to achieve it.
Has the ability to teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Is enthusiastic about contributing to extracurricular sport and enrichment opportunities.We Offer:
