Position: Housing Support Business Lead - Exec
Location: SL1 2EJ, Remote
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Working Hours: 7.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: PAYE: £481.52 per day

Job Responsibilities
Support and maintain the Council's Housing Applications, including the NEC Integrated Housing Management System.
Manage incidents, problems, changes, and releases to ensure system availability and performance.
Monitor application performance and resolve technical issues within agreed service levels.
Coordinate system testing, upgrades, deployments, and enhancements.
Maintain data integrity, governance, and compliance with data protection requirements.
Produce and maintain system documentation, procedures, and support materials.
Support business change initiatives and identify opportunities for service improvement.
Deliver user support, training, and knowledge transfer where required.
Maintain business continuity, backup, and disaster recovery arrangements.
Liaise with Housing Services, Digital teams, suppliers, and third-party vendors.
Provide technical advice, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Ensure effective operational support and continuous improvement of Housing systems.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
Experience supporting NEC Housing applications or similar housing management systems.
Strong background in ICT, Digital Services, or Technology Operations.
Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
Experience managing suppliers, vendors, and third-party support providers.
Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
Experience supporting system upgrades, business change, and service improvement.
Knowledge of data governance, information management, and data protection.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Degree, NVQ Level 6, or equivalent relevant experience.
Desirable Criteria
Experience with the NEC Integrated Housing Management System.
Local Government, Housing, or Public Sector experience.
Knowledge of Housing Management processes and legislation.
ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, or other project management qualification.
Experience with cloud-based or SaaS applications.
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. BCS).
