We are working with a respected provider in Guildford to recruit caring, dependable and enthusiastic Support Workers who are passionate about helping others.

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Full Time | Shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support, ensuring every individual is treated with dignity, respect and kindness.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

* Supporting residents with daily routines and promoting independent living.

* Providing personal care where required, always maintaining dignity and respect.

* Encouraging participation in activities, hobbies and community-based opportunities.

* Offering emotional support and building positive, trusting relationships.

* Keeping accurate care records and reporting any concerns promptly.

* Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to deliver the highest standards of care.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be someone who enjoys supporting others and understands the importance of compassionate, person-centred care.

You will ideally have:

* Previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant or within an adult social care environment.

* A warm, patient and empathetic nature.

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

* A positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

* A willingness to learn, develop and undertake ongoing training.

* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
