Our client, a pioneering engineering-led technology company in Witney, Oxfordshire specialising in precision flow control valves, is seeking a dedicated Stores Controller to join their growing team. With recent significant investment, they are expanding their production capabilities and looking for talented individuals to be part of this exciting journey.
What you'll be doing:
* Managing inventory across the supply chain and internal stock
* Conducting regular stocktakes and batch control
* Serialising components as per approvals
* Kitting stock to works orders and resolving BOM issues during kitting
* Moving components on MRP systems and assigning works orders to sales orders
* Supporting despatch activities and assisting production teams during busy periods
* Ensuring accuracy in warehouse and office processes, including inspection of incoming components
What you'll bring:
* Proven experience in stock or stores control within a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Good understanding of manufacturing processes and components
* Proficient IT skills and experience with MRP systems
* Excellent time management, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
What they offer:
* Salary depending on experience £30 -£35k
* Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm with a Friday 1pm finish
