Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for experienced Production Team Leaders to join a successful manufacturing business based in Dunkeswell, near Honiton, Devon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Team Leader looking to develop a long-term career within a well-established manufacturing business. You'll play a key role in leading a production team, driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring production targets are achieved in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Please note: Own transport is essential due to the location.

Key Duties

Lead, motivate and support a team of Production Operatives to achieve daily production targets.
Organise workloads and ensure production plans are delivered efficiently.
Monitor production processes to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
Ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards and manufacturing requirements.
Complete production records, paperwork and computer-based systems accurately.
Promote a strong Health & Safety culture across the production and manufacturing environment.
Support the training, development and performance of team members.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Act as a positive role model, encouraging teamwork and high performance.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Production Team Leader, Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Team Leader, Shift Leader, Senior Operator, Senior Production Operative or similar leadership role.
Experience within a manufacturing, production, FMCG or food production environment is preferred.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Ability to make confident decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Good understanding of Health & Safety, quality standards and production processes.
Own transport is essential due to the location.

What We Offer

£15.68 per hour.
£23.52 per hour overtime after 38 hours worked.
Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm.
One fixed weekday off every week on a rotating schedule.
Every weekend off.
