The Opportunity
ITS Construction Professionals are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager on behalf of a well-established national residential developer.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a live housing development in Coventry, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will be joining a professional project team with the potential for ongoing work for the right individual.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day running of a live residential development.
* Manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities.
* Ensure all works are completed in line with programme and quality expectations.
* Maintain high standards of health and safety across site.
* Carry out site inspections and quality checks.
* Liaise with the Contracts Manager and wider project team.
* Ensure labour, materials and plant are effectively managed.
* Drive programme performance and resolve any site issues as they arise.
* Maintain accurate site records and reporting.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within the residential housebuilding sector.
* Strong background delivering new-build housing developments.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme deadlines.
* Good knowledge of NHBC standards and current health & safety legislation.
Essential Qualifications
* SMSTS
* CSCS Black or White Card
* First Aid at Work
* Full UK Driving Licence
