Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership based in Bristol, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department. This opportunity offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and substantial career progression prospects within a well-established family-run motor retail group and award-winning dealer group.
Benefits:
Negotiable basic salary depending on experience
Performance-related bonus scheme and overtime, with OTE of approximately £42,000 per annum
Additional bonus opportunities through the sale of service plans
31 days annual holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service
Full in-house training and career development support

Discounted vehicle parts and servicing rates
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch break; 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am-12:30pmDuties of a Service Advisor:
Greet customers in the Service Department and book vehicles in for repairs and routine servicing
Liaise extensively with workshop team to chase work in progress and ensure timely delivery
Advise customers on minor technical issues and recommend additional products or services
Upsell service plans and additional repair work where appropriate as a Service Advisor
Maintain clear communication with customers regarding vehicle progress and costs
Take payments and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to promote loyalty and repeat business
Assist in achieving departmental targets and company objectivesRequirements of a Service Advisor:
At least two years' experience working as a Service Advisor or similar within the motor trade
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service through excellent communication skills
Organisational skills and IT proficiency; experience with Kerridge/Keyloop DMS is advantageous but not essential
Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures and liaising with manufacturers to authorise warranty repairs is beneficial but non-essential
Passion for working within the automotive industry and maintaining high standards of professionalism
