British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter - Remote VRI (Permanent)

Salary: £45,000 per annum (full‑time), pro rata for part‑time

Location: Fully remote, UK‑wide

Hours: Full‑time or part‑time

A global communications provider is seeking qualified British Sign Language Interpreters to join its permanent Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) team. These home‑based roles support Deaf and hearing service users across NHS, local authority and wider public‑sector settings.

The Role

BSL-English interpreting - Deliver accurate, professional interpretation between BSL and spoken English via live video calls.
Public‑sector communication - Facilitate communication for NHS, local authority and wider public‑sector appointments.
Professional standards - Maintain confidentiality, impartiality and consistently high practice standards.
Remote working - Work from home within a structured Monday-Friday schedule (no evenings, weekends or bank holidays).Mandatory Qualifications

Registered Sign Language Interpreter (RSLI) status
Registration with NRCPD, RBSLI, or SRLPDC
Evidence of formal BSL-English interpreting training
Strong, demonstrable experience delivering high‑quality BSL/English interpretation
Reliable home working setup suitable for professional VRI deliveryHours Available
