Senior Cost Manager – Life Sciences
Oxford | Hybrid Working | Major Projects
Are you looking to work on some of the UK's most technically challenging construction projects?
We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join a specialist team delivering high-profile Life Sciences developments across Oxford.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on laboratories, research facilities and specialist science environments, supporting projects from concept through to completion.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
* Managing the commercial delivery of major projects
* Preparing cost plans and budgets
* Providing commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle
* Managing risk, value engineering and cost control
* Supporting procurement and tender processes
* Building strong relationships with clients and project teams
* Leading commercial meetings and mentoring junior colleagues
About You
You'll ideally have:
* Consultancy Quantity Surveying or Cost Management experience
* Experience delivering projects from inception through to completion
* Strong commercial awareness
* Excellent client-facing skills
* MRICS (or working towards)
* Experience within Life Sciences, Healthcare, Advanced Manufacturing or technically complex projects would be advantageous but isn't essential
