Quality Inspector (Powder Coating)
Location: Havant
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:15pm | Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary Position
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and previous experience inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect powder-coated components and finished products for quality, appearance, and finish.
Check coating thickness, coverage, colour consistency, and overall surface quality.
Identify and report defects including runs, scratches, contamination, orange peel, and other coating imperfections.
Ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
Complete quality documentation and inspection records accurately.
Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and maintain high standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times.Requirements
Previous experience in a Quality Inspector role within a manufacturing environment.
No need to have previous experience inspecting in powder coating
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
Understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques.
Ability to read and follow specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
Good communication and organisational skills.
