We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in Manchester. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to advance their career within a reputable dealership environment.

Supportive team environment focused on wellbeing and career growthDuties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
Conduct detailed diagnostic assessments using manufacturer-standard equipment
Carry out repairs and maintenance, including electrical diagnostics, to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Perform routine servicing tasks according to manufacturer guidelines
Use digital systems to complete accurate job cards and detailed work documentation
Support electronic diagnostic procedures, including eVHCs
Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures at all times
Maintain a clean, organised workshop environment
Provide excellent customer service by explaining findings and repair recommendations efficientlyRequirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician :
Recognised Level 3 qualification such as IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent
Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in a motor trade environment
Strong diagnostic skills with a thorough understanding of modern vehicle systems
MOT licence is desirable; comprehensive training can be provided if not currently qualified
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous professional development
