Quality Engineer
Salary: £38,000–£44,000 + Performance Bonus
Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with a passion for compliance, auditing, and continuous improvement? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our quality team, helping to maintain the highest standards within a precision manufacturing environment serving highly regulated industries.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Engineer (Compliance & Audit), you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting internal and external quality audits.
* Supporting compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) / Integrated Management System (IMS).
* Investigating non-conformances and participating in MRB activities.
* Raising and managing concessions where required.
* Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and waste reduction.
* Working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines technical quality expertise with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
You'll have:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
* Previous experience as a time-served inspector or an experienced quality auditor.
* The ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements to verify product conformity.
* A thorough understanding of manufacturing processes from raw material through to finished product.
* Experience working to the demanding standards of the aerospace, defence, or other highly regulated manufacturing sectors.
* Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS/IMS) and quality compliance requirements.
* Experience using a range of inspection techniques and equipment, including:
* Hand measuring equipment
* Keyence measurement systems
* Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
* Experience managing non-conformance processes, MRB activities, and concession requests.
* Experience planning and conducting internal and external audits.
