A leading professional services consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing advisory QS team based primarily in London, with opportunities also considered in Manchester, Birmingham, and Bristol.
Responsibilities of Senior Quantity Surveyor:
* Deliver a full QS remit including cost planning, tender adjudications, and project QS work
* Administer NEC and JCT contracts across a diverse, multi-sector portfolio
* Provide commercially astute advice to clients, operating confidently at senior level
* Support contentious work including claims and expert witness activities where required
* Mentor and develop junior team members, managing effectively at all levels
* Build and maintain strong client relationships with a proactive, client-facing approach
Essential Requirements:
* 3–5+ years' experience in a QS role with a strong main contractor background
* Multi-sector exposure across areas such as aviation, residential, water, infrastructure, energy, defence, or nuclear
* Chartered (MRICS/CIAT) preferred, or actively working towards
* Solid knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Able to work autonomously and contribute to a growing, evolving team
