CNC Miller (Programmer)

Location: Bradford
Salary: £18.00 (£36,504) to £20.00 (£40,560)
Hours: Flexible day shifts between 6:00am – 4:00pm, 4 or 5 days per week (39 hours a week)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller (Programmer) to join a well-established engineering company servicing clients across a range of industries including Oil & Gas, Automotive and Aerospace.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for flexible working hours and long-term career progression within a busy precision engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines

* Working with Heidenhain controls

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances

* Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment

* Ensuring machines are running efficiently and safely

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

* Previous experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer

* Strong knowledge of Heidenhain machines and controls

* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

* Experience setting and operating CNC machinery

* Excellent attention to detail and quality standards

* Experience within precision engineering environments
