Maths Teacher - PRU
Remedy Education are looking for a strong Maths Teacher to join a PRU based in Greenwich on a part-time basis.
This role is working with students who may have SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, low confidence or gaps in learning. The school are looking for someone who can deliver engaging Maths lessons, build positive relationships and support pupils who need a calm, consistent and structured approach.
Role Details:
Position: Maths Teacher
Location: Greenwich
Setting: PRU
Days: 3 days per week
Pay: £220-£250 per day
Start Date: ASAP
The Role:
* Plan and deliver Maths lessons tailored to pupils in a PRU setting
* Support students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
* Adapt learning to meet different ability levels and gaps in education
* Use strong behaviour management and positive engagement strategies
* Build trust and consistency with pupils who may struggle in mainstream settings
* Work closely with support staff, pastoral teams and senior leaders
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
* QTS or strong relevant teaching experience
* Experience in a PRU, SEMH school or alternative provision is desirable
* Strong behaviour management skills
* A calm, resilient and consistent approach
* A genuine passion for helping pupils re-engage with learning
