Vehicle Technician
Location: Salisbury
Salary: £36,000 basic | OTE up to £40,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm (42.5 hours per week) + Saturday mornings on a rota.

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician to join a busy, successful dealership in Salisbury. You'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician:
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
Complete inspections, testing and quality checks.
Perform complex repairs, including engine, transmission and electrical work.
Use the latest diagnostic equipment and software.
Complete all documentation accurately, including warranty paperwork.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
Experience needed for the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician:
Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
At least 2 years' experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician
Previous main dealer or automotive retailer experience preferred.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Full UK driving licence.
