Deputy Headteacher - SEN

As a Deputy Headteacher if you could choose a school what would it be like? This SEN school needs needs a Deputy Headteacher to work in partnership with a newly appointed Headteacher creating the strategy to enable this school to grow and children to flourish.

As a Deputy Headteacher you will provide clear leadership from day one across teaching, learning, policies, culture, and outcomes as part of the SLT. You will understand the unique needs of SEN children and be part of the team that makes this environment a place where children learn, build confidence and grow. You will be supporting the Headteacher on recruitment initiatives and be responsible for enabling staff to grow through coaching and personal development.

You will be: -

An experienced or aspiring Deputy Headteacher
QTS and have senior leadership experience in SEN
Able to impact outcomes for pupils with SEN
Have strong knowledge of KCSIE, the SEN Code of Practice
A confident leader of people, curriculum, and cultureWe are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who is an aspiring Headteacher to provide clear strategic leadership from day one. You will set direction, promote quality, and keep children safe. You will lead the teaching and learning team, work with the Trust, governors, building strong partnerships with the local authority, families, health care professionals, and social workers. If you can bring drive, commitment, and a record of achievement in an SEN provision, we want to hear from you.

You will set direction, keep children safe, and drive steady growth. You will lead with positive objectives, working closely with the headteacher and team.

Key responsibilities:-

Set a clear progression plan and track outcomes
Achieve high quality teaching and learning outcomes for SEN students
Lead safeguarding and safer recruitment
Oversee EHCPs, annual reviews, and provision mapping
Embed positive outcomes across the schoolIn return you will enjoy:
