Site Agent - Highways Improvement Scheme
Location: Bath City Centre
Rate: £450 per day CIS
Duration: Long-term contract opportunity
Are you an experienced Site Agent with a strong background in highways and civil engineering projects? We are currently recruiting for a Site Agent to support the delivery of a major highway improvement scheme in the Bath area, involving new footway construction, drainage works and ducting installation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Site Agent to take ownership of site delivery, lead a site team and play a key role in ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
The Role
As Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating teams and subcontractors, and ensuring the successful delivery of works on behalf of the client.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Leading and supervising the site team to ensure successful project delivery
·Planning and coordinating site activities, resources and workforce requirements
·Carrying out daily site briefings and monitoring ongoing works
·Maintaining accurate site records, reports and project documentation
·Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
·Attending weekly client meetings and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
·Managing subcontractors and supporting effective communication across all parties
·Working within NEC contract requirements and project procedures
About You
The successful candidate will have:
·Proven experience working as a Site Agent or similar role within civil engineering and highways projects
·Strong workforce supervision and site management experience
·A good understanding of NEC contracts and project delivery processes
·Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
·The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams
·A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
Essential Requirements
·SMSTS qualification
·NRSWA Supervisor/Manager qualification
·Experience delivering highways and civil engineering works
Rate & Requirements
·£450 per day CIS
·Immediate availability preferred
·Full PPE required: Hi-vis trousers and jacket, safety boots, hard hat, glasses and gloves
