Class 1 Driver – Immediate Start Available

We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver in Burton upon Trent for an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established transport company.

This is a long-term Class 1 Driver role offering a popular 4 on 4 off shift pattern, consistent hours, and excellent earning potential. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be carrying out general haulage work within a professional transport operation, making this an ideal opportunity for a Class 1 Driver looking for stability and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities – Class 1 Driver

* Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on scheduled delivery routes

* Complete general haulage deliveries and collections

* Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

* Complete all delivery paperwork accurately

* Ensure loads are transported safely and securely

* Follow driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations

* Maintain excellent communication with the transport team

Requirements – Class 1 Driver

* Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred

* Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, TT, CD or other major endorsements)

* Reliable, professional, and safety-focused

* Able to pass a driving assessment if required
