Accounts Manager required by a growing accountancy practice. In this interesting and varied role you will combine technical expertise, relationship management and team leadership responsibilities.
There is a progression plan to Partnership in place within a realistic timescale of two successful years of service.
The Accounts Manager Role:
Managing and developing a portfolio of audit and charity / not-for-profit clients, acting as a trusted point of contact and building strong long-term relationships.
Leading, mentoring, and supporting junior team members.
Reviewing and preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, as well as sole traders.
Preparing and reviewing tax computations and returns (personal & corporate).
Overseeing VAT return preparation and ensuring compliance.
Supporting clients with business setup and advisory matters, company incorporations and HMRC registrations.
Providing proactive business and tax advice to help clients.
Ensuring all work is in line with internal procedures, standards and regulatory requirements.
The Accounts Manager:
Experience within an accountancy practice at Manager level or equivalent.
ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent.
Experience of preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns for limited companies and unincorporated businesses.
Experience with audit and / or charity and / or not-for-profit
