Our client, in the financial services sector, is seeking a Data Analyst contractor to support strategic priorities and foundational enablers - including launching new offers and building unified data platforms - alongside BAU activities such as client segmentation, dashboard updates, and ad-hoc analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other BI platforms
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify opportunities for process improvements and business growth
- Design and execute ad hoc analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Solid experience in Data Analytics, including data querying (SQL, Python) and data visualisation (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong quantification skills - mathematics, behavioural modelling of averages, deviations, outlier detection
- Problem-solving expertise - working with partners to understand problems, digest requirements, and turn them into data solutions
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across business and technology, with strong communication and facilitation skills

- Rate: £420/day - Inside IR35
