DevOps Expert Configuration Management

For our clients in the greater Cologne area and for remote work, we are seeking a DevOps Expert (m/f/d) specializing in Configuration Management.

Start date: Immediate

Duration: 6 months with option to extend

Workload: Full-time (project-based)

Language: English

Location: First weeks in Aachen then huge remote part possible

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and independently managing existing CI/CD structures
• Further developing and structuring pipelines based on Jenkins and GitLab CI
• Familiarizing yourself with existing system landscapes (Jenkins, Python, GitLab, openTofu/Terraform)
• Planning and executing the migration of multiple software repositories from Git/Gerrit to GitLab
• Creating clear, comprehensive technical documentation
• Coordinating and providing technical guidance for tasks within the configuration management environment

Requirements

• Several years of experience in similar CI/CD projects
• Solid knowledge of Jenkins, Python, and GitLab
• Practical experience with Git and Gerrit, as well as Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or openTofu)
• Experience in designing and implementing build and deployment pipelines
• Structured and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in handling technical documentation
