SAP Quality Management Consultant

Contract Duration: B2B freelance 18-month plus possible extension

Location: 100% remote from Europe

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Quality Management (QM) & GxP Process Specialist to provide support for quality-related SAP processes and ongoing initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and site teams to resolve SAP QM issues, support process improvements, and contribute to SAP implementation activities across manufacturing plants.

This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in SAP Quality Management and a solid understanding of regulated quality processes, preferably within the pharmaceutical, consumer health, or FMCG industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for SAP Quality Management (QM) processes and issue resolution.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP QM-related incidents and process challenges.
• Support GxP-compliant quality processes and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT teams to optimize business processes.
• Support SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives at manufacturing sites.
• Participate in process design, testing, validation, and user acceptance activities where required.
• Assist with documentation, process mapping, and training materials.
• Ensure SAP QM processes follow company quality standards and best practices.
• Support change management activities associated with SAP process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting SAP Quality Management (QM).
• Strong understanding of quality processes within SAP.
• Knowledge of GxP-regulated environments and quality system requirements.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or plant operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot business process and system issues effectively.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a cross-functional, international environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience participating in SAP implementation or rollout projects at manufacturing plants.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, consumer health, medical device, or FMCG industries.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Quality Management is an advantage.
• Experience with testing, validation, and change control in regulated environments.
