Site Engineer - Glasgow

Project duration: 1 Year

Salary starting from: £300 per shift

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Site Hours: 07.30am - 17.30pm

UKR Group is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to start ASAP in a job in Glasgow

Responsibilities

* Setting out works and checking levels using surveying equipment

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings

* Ensuring works are completed accurately and to project specifications

* Carrying out quality checks and maintaining site records

* Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers

* Reporting progress, issues, and technical queries

* Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards

Skills & Experience

* Previous experience as a Site Engineer within construction

* Strong knowledge of construction methods and site processes

* Ability to use surveying equipment and interpret drawings

* Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

* Strong communication and organisational abilities

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

* Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)

* RC Frame Experience

* Experience with setting out and site surveying

* Good understanding of health & safety regulations

* Right to work in the UK

* Experience in civil engineering, groundworks, or infrastructure projects; knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM; SSSTS/SMSTS qualification; full UK driving licence
