Duties as SEND Teacher:
Delivering pre-planned lessons tailored to pupils' learning needs
Supporting pupils with a range of SEND and additional needs
Creating a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
Working closely with teaching assistants and wider support staff
Monitoring progress and contributing to pupil developmentIdeal SEND Teacher
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with SEND pupils is highly desirable
Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
Understanding of differentiated learning and inclusive practice
