You will drive the strategic vision and delivery of a major transit expansion project, ensuring alignment with national guidance and commitments while engaging stakeholders and shaping key route decisions. This role is central to transforming connectivity, enhancing accessibility, and fostering sustainable growth in the region.
Job Requirements
Proven experience in transport infrastructure development, preferably in rail, transit, or major transport projects.
Strong expertise in strategic planning, including the development of Strategic Outline Cases and business cases.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams and coordinating with stakeholders such as local authorities, transport operators, and regulatory bodies.
Ability to analyse and assess route options, considering cost, risk, schedule, technical feasibility, and stakeholder aspirations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in risk management, schedule reviews, and assurance activities is advantageous.
