📍 Holborn, London (Hybrid) | 💰 Band 6 | ⏰ Up to 35 hours per week (30 hours considered) | 📅 3-month temporary assignment | Start ASAP

We're recruiting on behalf of a prestigious London university for an experienced EU Research Grant Applications Manager to join its Research Development team on an initial 3-month temporary assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting European research funding applications within higher education who enjoys working collaboratively with academics and professional services teams to deliver high-quality, compliant funding submissions.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the preparation and submission of Horizon Europe, ERC, MSCA and other European/international research funding applications.
Advising researchers on funder requirements and navigating the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
Coordinating internal approval processes, compliance checks and submission deadlines.
Maintaining accurate grant application and award records.
Supporting successful projects through the post-award set-up process.
Drafting and reviewing collaboration agreements, DESCA agreements and related contractual documentation.
Producing reports and management information on applications and awards.
Identifying process improvements and contributing to the continuous development of research support services.We're looking for someone who has:

Proven experience supporting EU research grant applications within a higher education or research environment.
Strong knowledge of Horizon Europe, ERC and/or MSCA funding schemes.
Experience with pre-award and post-award research administration.
Knowledge of EU Funding & Tenders Portal and funder compliance requirements.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong communication skills and experience working with academic and professional services colleagues.The role:

Initial 3-month temporary assignment (with potential to extend)
Based in Holborn with hybrid working available
Up to 35 hours per week (30 hours/0.8 FTE considered)
