The Role
As SENDCO, you will:
* Lead and manage the SEND provision across the school
* Oversee EHCPs, Annual Reviews, and statutory processes
* Support and guide teaching staff to deliver high-quality inclusive practice
* Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies
* Contribute to whole-school improvement and inclusive strategy
* Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* The National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards it)
* Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory requirements
* Experience within a secondary school setting
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* A child-centred and solution-focused approach
