Join a well-established and supportive electrical contractor covering the Wirral, Cheshire, Manchester and Runcorn areas, where you'll carry out a mix of domestic and commercial inspection and testing work.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing compliance team, carrying out EICRs and electrical inspections to the highest standards. You'll work Monday to Friday with a strong focus on keeping travel local wherever possible. Travel is paid from the first and last 30 minutes of your day, with door-to-site fuel costs covered for the remainder.
I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Tester, Approved Electrician or Inspection & Testing Electrician.
As an Electrician, you will be:
Working across the Wirral, Cheshire, Manchester and Runcorn areas
Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across domestic and commercial properties
Inspecting, testing and diagnosing electrical installations in line with BS 7671 and NICEIC standards
Accurately identifying and coding faults, including C1, C2, C3 and FI observations
Completing inspection reports using NICEIC software
Carrying out snagging work and ensuring successful handovers
Working closely with customers, tenants, site managers and other trades
Managing your own workload and maintaining van stock
Following site safety procedures, RAMS and CDM regulations at all times
I'd love to speak to anyone who has:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualification
A valid ECS or CSCS card (Gold Card preferred)
Proven experience completing EICRs independently
A full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
