Senior Site Manager – Super-Prime Heritage Residential
Location: Wimbledon - South West London
Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 + package
Type: Permanent | Full-time
A Grade II* listed home in South West London - Jacobean, Georgian and Victorian in character, is undergoing a full restoration and a new two-storey basement. We're looking for a Senior Site Manager to run the site day to day: driving the build, holding the quality line and keeping the trades moving to programme.
This is a hands-on, site-based role for a Senior Site Manager who's at their best on the deck, not behind a desk.
As Senior Site Manager, you will:
* Run day-to-day delivery from enabling works through to fit-out and handover
* Manage and sequence subcontractors and specialist heritage trades
* Own quality control on site — every finish to a super-prime standard
* Drive the two-storey basement and structural works on the ground
* Make sure modern services go in discreetly without compromising the historic fabric
* Keep the programme on track and flag risk early
* Maintain a safe, well-run, tidy site
* Report progress directly to the project lead and the principal
You'll need
* Extensive experience as a Senior Site Manager on prime/super-prime London residential
* A track record on heritage refurbishments and basement schemes
* Strong grasp of build sequencing, temporary works and structural delivery
* Familiarity with traditional craft (lime plaster, timber sashes) alongside modern methods
* The presence to command respect on site and get the best from trades
* Relevant site management and safety qualifications; CIOB or heritage training (SPAB, IHBC) a plus
On offer
* £70,000–£85,000 depending on experience
* Discretionary performance-related bonus
* A standout project on one of London's most distinctive heritage homes
