We're recruiting for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join an innovative engineering business developing advanced electronic products for high-tech industrial applications.
The Role
You'll be involved in the design, development and validation of electronic hardware, working closely with engineering and production teams to deliver high-quality products from concept through to manufacture.
Responsibilities
Design analogue and digital electronic circuits.
Produce schematics, PCB layouts and wiring diagrams.
Support prototype builds, testing and validation.
Develop production test equipment.
Investigate and resolve technical issues.
Produce engineering documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and EMC standards.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years' electronics design experience.
Experience with PCB design and ECAD software.
Strong analogue and digital electronics knowledge.
Experience with oscilloscopes and electronic test equipment.
Knowledge of CANbus, SPI, I2C or UART is beneficial.
Power electronics experience would be an advantage.
Exposure to SPICE, C or Python is desirable.
