£95-£110 per day PAYE (depending on experience)
A supportive 2-form entry primary school in Hanwell is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Mentor to join their team from September 2026 for the full academic year.
This role will involve supporting two pupils in Year 5 who require additional behavioural and emotional support to access learning successfully. The school is looking for someone who can build positive, consistent relationships with pupils while maintaining high expectations and helping them develop confidence, resilience, and independence.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, or Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding long-term role.

Implement behaviour support strategies consistently
Support pupils both in the classroom and during intervention sessions
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals where required
Encourage positive social interactions and emotional regulation
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staffRequirements
The school is looking for someone who:
Has previous experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs in a UK primary school
Has experience working with children who display challenging behaviour or require additional emotional support
Can develop strong, professional relationships with pupils while maintaining clear boundaries
Is calm, patient, and resilient
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
Is committed to helping children make both academic and personal progressExperience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, Learning Mentor, or Learning Support Assistant is highly desirable.
Salary
