Quality Engineer - Aerospace

£50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00 | Friday 08:00-14:30

We're looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a growing aerospace manufacturing business. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in driving quality standards, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction within an AS9100 environment.

Quality Engineer - What you'll be doing:

Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (AS9100 & ISO 9001)
Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions (8D, 5 Whys)
Manage non-conformances and support continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct internal audits and support customer and supplier quality activities
Support First Article Inspections (AS9102), calibration, and inspection processes
Work closely with production to promote a strong quality culture

Quality Engineer - What we're looking for:

Experience as a Quality Engineer within aerospace or precision manufacturing
Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001 and auditing
Experience with FAI, GD&T, metrology and engineering drawings
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA or SPC is advantageous
