For our client we are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer for a Long term project in a high performance team

This role plays a part in a large AWS Project and works with a team disperces across Switzerland and a nearshore centre. Hybrid Office attendence is preferred and the client has two locations close to Zurich and Geneva

Key Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related infrastructure role.
• Deep hands-on expertise in AWS - including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Terraform, including module design, state management, and environment promotion.
• Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Strong Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex problems.
• Ability to work on shift.

• Experience with AWS security tooling: GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config.
• Knowledge of observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• AWS Solutions Architect or HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification.
• Experience with multi-account AWS Organizations setups.
• Knowledge of Azure
