We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Plumber to join our team working across social housing properties in Winchester. This role involves carrying out high-quality plumbing repairs as the primary trade, alongside a range of multi-trade maintenance tasks to ensure first-time fixes and excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will work independently, manage their workload effectively, and maintain high standards of workmanship while ensuring health and safety compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations
Complete multi-trade repairs including basic joinery and general maintenance
Diagnose faults and complete first-time fixes where possible
Deliver excellent customer service while working in occupied properties
Keep accurate records of completed work and materials used
Maintain company vehicle, stock levels, and tools
Work safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations
Participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota
Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong plumbing experience with multi-trade skills
Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good understanding of health and safety practices
Desirable
Experience working within social housing or responsive maintenance
