The Role
As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative, highly differentiated lessons that meet each pupil's individual needs while fostering a calm, structured and engaging classroom environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs and EHCP outcomes.
Supporting pupils with autism and additional SEND to achieve academic, social and emotional progress.
Creating a nurturing classroom where positive relationships and routines help children thrive.
Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider school team.
Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies to ensure every pupil reaches their potential.
Building strong partnerships with families and professionals to support the best outcomes for pupils.We're Looking For:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential).
Have experience teaching within primary education, with SEN experience desirable.
Be passionate about supporting children with autism and additional learning needs.
Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
Be patient, adaptable and committed to inclusive education.
