The schools are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) from September on a full-time basis. Opportunities are available on a day-to-day, long-term or permanent basis. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will support teaching and learning across a range of year groups, deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher and provide targeted interventions to help pupils reach their full potential.
The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will have:
HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant experience
Previous experience working within UK primary or secondary schools
Confidence leading whole class learning when required
Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive, flexible and proactive approach to supporting pupils and staff
