We're recruiting on behalf of a growing, employee-owned business operating within the renewable energy sector, seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join their finance leadership team.
This is far more than a traditional finance role. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight, challenging decision-making, and helping shape the financial strategy of a business committed to building a more sustainable future.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you'll become a trusted business partner across the organisation, supporting a diverse portfolio of renewable energy assets and projects.
You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on financial management, ensuring robust reporting while providing the insight needed to drive performance and support investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with senior leaders to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
Deliver insightful financial analysis and performance reporting.
Review financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
Support investment appraisals, business cases and financial modelling.
Oversee and prepare financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Strengthen financial controls, governance and risk management.
Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and processes.
Build strong relationships across operational and commercial teams to influence business performance.About You
You'll be a qualified finance professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and translating financial information into meaningful commercial insight.
You'll have:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercially focused finance role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
The confidence to challenge, influence and support senior decision-makers.
