This full-time role is ideal for graduates considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or other education-related professions.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers, support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and gain the hands-on classroom experience needed for future teacher training.

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide academic and pastoral support, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in lessons across a range of subject areas.
Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions to improve student progress and confidence.
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
Supporting students with varying learning needs, including those with SEND where appropriate.
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
Helping to monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Assisting with classroom management to ensure a positive learning environment.
Supporting students with coursework, revision, and examination preparation.
Building positive relationships with students and acting as a positive role model.
Contributing to the wider school community through enrichment activities and school events where required.
