An excellent opportunity has become available for a Manufacturing Technician to join a growing engineering and manufacturing team based in Milton Keynes.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on assembly experience who enjoys working in a practical production environment. You will be involved in the build and assembly of specialist mechanical equipment, including mechanical fitting, basic hydraulic installation, and electrical wiring.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out mechanical assembly and fitting work following structured build processes.
* Install basic hydraulic components and electrical wiring.
* Work to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
* Support continuous improvement activities and lean manufacturing initiatives.
* Work as part of a team to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous experience in a hands-on manufacturing, assembly, or engineering role.
* Mechanical fitting or assembly experience is essential.
* Basic understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems is desirable.
* Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Comfortable using basic computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (40 hours per week)
Overtime available depending on production requirements.
Salary & Benefits:
* Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
* Opportunity to increase earnings as skills develop and additional responsibilities are achieved.
* Weekly performance bonus (average £75 - £100 per week).
* Overtime paid at enhanced rates.
