Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for your next opportunity? Join our client's growing team in Newmarket, a forward-thinking company that has recently secured several large projects and is expanding its business.

Responsibilities:

*

Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications

*

Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets required standards

*

Assist with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during assembly

*

Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment

*

Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical assembly/maintenance role

*

Experience in fabrication and working with steel components

*

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals

*

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Relevant qualifications or training in mechanical assembly, fitting, or maintenance would be advantageous

Benefits:

Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (dependant on experience)
