Year 5 Teacher

Zest Education are looking for a passionate and committed Year 5 Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Kingstanding.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering the chance to inspire pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2 and prepare for the challenges of Year 6.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners

* Support pupils in developing strong literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills

* Create a positive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, resilience, and respect

* Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure pupil progress and wellbeing

* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events

Candidate Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5

* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
