Technical Sales Engineer responsibilities
Manage and develop an established sales territory across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Kent.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing end users and distributor partners.
Identify and secure new business opportunities to increase market share within the territory.
Conduct regular customer visits to understand manufacturing requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
Deliver a high standard of customer service while acting as a professional ambassador for the business.
Retain and grow existing business through effective account management and relationship building.
Manage your own diary, appointments and territory with minimal supervision.
Work collaboratively with the wider sales team on larger customer opportunities, sharing knowledge and best practice.
Maintain accurate customer records and communicate market feedback to the wider business.The ideal Technical Sales Engineer will have a proven background in technical sales within the cutting tools industry, with proven relationships across both end users and/or distribution partners. You'll have experience selling standard catalogue products, a strong track record of developing and growing an existing sales territory, and the self-motivation to manage your own schedule independently. Above all, you'll be a professional ambassador for a premium engineering brand, combining commercial drive with a customer-focused approach

Basic salary up to £60,000
Uncapped commission with realistic additional earnings of around £13,000 from the existing customer base
