We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Shunter Driver to support a busy operation in Halifax (HX3) on a 3-week temporary assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV Driver looking for short-term work with an attractive hourly rate and all hours paid, including breaks.

Working Hours

Day Shifts: 06:00 - 18:00
Night Shifts: 18:00 - 06:00
12 hours paid per shift

Shift Pattern

Week 1

Mon 13th - Day
Tue 14th - Day
Wed 15th - Day
Thu 16th - Night
Fri 17th - Night
Week 2

Thu 23rd - Day
Fri 24th - Day
Week 3

Mon 27th - Night
Tue 28th - Night
Wed 29th - Night

Duties

Yard shunting and trailer movements
Moving vehicles safely around site
Trailer allocation and repositioning
Liaising with transport and warehouse teams
Completing vehicle safety checks
Following all site health & safety procedures

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous shunting experience preferred
Good understanding of site safety procedures
Reliable and available for the full contract duration
